Cookie Policy

This page explains the current launch setup for cookies and similar technologies on the Clare Island Farmhouse website.

What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies are small files or browser storage tools that websites and services may use to make features work, remember choices, measure use, or protect services.

Current website setup

This website does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar marketing tracking.

Strictly necessary website technologies may be used to make the site work, serve pages, protect security, and maintain reliable hosting.

Technical logs

Hosting and security services may collect technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request times, pages requested, and security events. These logs are used for operation and security.

Third-party services

WhatsApp, Google Maps, Google Business links, Facebook, ferry operators, and visitor information links are third-party services. If you click those links or choose to load the map, those providers may process data or use cookies under their own policies.

The Getting Here page uses a click-to-load map panel. Google Maps is not loaded until you choose to show the map or open Google Maps.

Your choices

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. You can also use the website without loading the map and can contact the farmhouse by phone if you prefer not to use WhatsApp or third-party links.

Future changes

If non-essential cookies, analytics, or advertising tools are added later, this policy will need to be updated and suitable consent controls will be put in place before those technologies are used.
